In addition to wastewater received from City of Lexington and Rockbridge County Public Service Authority, the Wastewater Treatment Plant treats septage hauled in from septic tanks in the area.  The plant will accept septage from a commercial septage hauler whose primary business location is within Rockbridge County or septage pumped from a home or business in Rockbridge County.  Septage haulers must check in with the operator on duty before discharging their tank.
